Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with digital technologies in special pedagogy focusing on the use of touch technologies (tablets, iPads), acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of tablets as a natural part of education and individual support of pupils with special educational needs on the basis of supporting Measures.
Learning outcomes
- student knows the basic concepts of touch technologies, tablets, iPads;
- knows the basic possibilities of using touch technology in teaching and in the field of individual support;
- has acquired basic approaches and principles of working with technologies in education as well as in the field of individual support;
- Has practical skills in touch technology, tablets, iPads.
Syllabus
  • Types of touch technologies that can be used in education and support;
  • Familiarity with iPads and other touchscreen devices, basic control functions;
  • Touch screen technology;
  • Types of applications and working with them (closed and open);
  • Use of iPads in individuals with special educational needs in the area of individual support;
  • Use of touch technology in common teaching;
  • Extended iPad capabilities;
  • Use of iPads according to the degree of support measures;
  • Active work with applications.
