Course objectives
At the end of this course, a student will be able to understand the areas of social work; he/she will have a picture of the social work methods and based on this knowledge, he/she will be able to apply these findings into the social-pedagogic practise. The information will be used for the projecting area.
Syllabus
  • Social work as a branch and scientific disipline, cooperation with other scientific disciplines. Basic ideas of social work, paradigms of of social work. Progress of social work all over the world and in the Czech Republic. Social worker and client, ethic codex of social worker, relatonships, values.. ýRights of social workers and clients. Social work and social services, demands of social work, burnoutsyndrom. Volutaree work, conceptions of work with minorities. Chosen methodes of social work.
