Course objectives
The subject "Histoire de l'enseignement scolaire" is designed for students of pedagogical bachelor study fields across MU. It responds to the necessity of passing at least one subject in a foreign language during the course of study. At the same time, it is closely linked to the content of individual subject didactics.
Learning outcomes
Through the form of block instruction in an interactive seminar under the guidance of a foreign guest, students will be familiarized with the history of French education from the mid-19th century to the present, with particular reference to the textbooks of mathematics, geography and the French language. At the same time, the subject will provide students of pedagogically oriented bachelor courses with the opportunity to pass this compulsory subject in a non-English language. The seminar cycle will provide students of the field of didactics with a view of a non-Czech and Anglo-American education system and can thus provide an important prerequisite for the emergence of bachelor's work aimed at comparing individual teaching systems across Europe and the world.
