Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to: - Clarify the milestones in the development of communication technology. - Explain the milestones in the development of computer technology and cybernetics.

  • 1 / transmission of information management (Telegraf acoustic, optical, electrical, Thomas Sommering) 2/Morse telegraph (Life of Samuel Morse, the development of telegraph, the telegraph in the Czech Republic) 3 / Telephone (Alexander Graham Bell, Gray phone, the development of telephone networks) 4 / mechanical sound recording (T.A. Edison, phonograph.) 5 / Magnetic sound (Oberlin Smith, V. Poulsen, F. Pfleumer.) 6 / wireless transmission of information (J.C. Maxwel, Hertzs' experiments proving the existence of the Mag. waves, vibratory circuit coherer.) 7/Electronic tube - further development of radio (T.A. Edison, the discovery of physical phenomena in electron tube. J.A.
