Course objectives
Designing and Parametric Modeling focuses on the design and use of computer support engineering in engineering. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to get acquainted with the technological design, using 3D CAD (parametric modeling) in technical drawing and drawing documentation. Emphasis is placed on mastering drawings using the CAD program (Autodesk Inventor). The creation of drawings using parametric modeling is directed to the design of structures and products in school workshops. There are also mentioned issues of design in construction and electrotechnics, related problems of design in education (ZŠ) and didactical aspects of design.
Understanding and mastering the fundamentals of design and CAD supports the use of graphical technical programs in the preparation of drawings and projects. In technical fields and in education it is a necessary part of preparation of experts in technical education. The problem of designing and parametric modeling includes examples of drawings from technical practice, And drawing drawings within the final project.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- use 3D CAD (parametric modeling) design techniques in technical drawings;
- design drawings using 3D CAD;
- design constructions and products for school workshops in 3D CAD;
- analyze current knowledge in parametric modeling;
