Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquaint users with current trends in the field of upcycling and the possibilities of using otherwise waste material.
Learning outcomes
After completing this course, participants will be able to use the learned techniques for their own use and creation of their projects.
Syllabus
  • The course will take participants through a variety of areas of production that is friendly to nature and the wallet, while offering lots of tips for their own practical design and re-use of otherwise unnecessary "waste".
  • textile recycling and upcycling
  • use of wood waste (pallets, old hardboard and other "waste")
  • what about unnecessary plastics?
  • how to use old containers (eg food or wine glasses)?
  • what about toilet paper rolls?
  • how to make home (recy) cosmetics without chemicals?
  • what about old paper, used tea and a box of muesli? (paper mache, scrapbook paper at home, notebooks)
  • how to use food or beverage cans and their components?
  • We will find the answer to all these questions together.

Teaching methods
Teaching takes place remotely - independent study of the interactive syllabus of the e-course (= own independent study according to your own time possibilities and your own pace WITHOUT the presence of the teacher).
Assessment methods
After reading the e-learning, it is necessary to submit at least 2 photos of the DIY products to the course delivery room (ie a photo from at least 2 products) in order to obtain a "credit". Products can be created according to the interactive syllabus or acording to your own decision.
