Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic drawing techniques and principles with overlaps into printmaking. The main focus is practical work in the medium of drawing, consultation over ongoing work within the studio. The goal is the realization of the author's intention in a pre-set concept. Creation in the medium of drawing or printmaking that reflects current artistic trends and orientations in the field, along with the ability to delineate and realize an artistic project is the main goal of the course.
Learning outcomes
- Student will understand basic concepts and technological procedures in the field of drawing and graphic techniques.
- Will actively approach an individually defined topic, define key words, obtain data, information and inspirational resources on the topic.
- At the same time, develop technological skills and specify creative processes and processes.
- Be able to communicate about their project and explain the content and creative mechanisms of their own work.
Syllabus
  • The course extends skills and knowledge of technological procedures and processes in the field of drawing and graphics in relation to the definition and implementation of individually defined topics. It builds on and builds on the experience gained in the Drawing and Printmaking course.

Assessment methods
- Realization of continuous mainly drawing assignments based on the outlined concept - which means a cycle of works corresponding to 7 assignments (about 10-20 drawings / graphics - depending on the format and individual consultations). - Ongoing consultation and active participation in the seminars is a condition of the presentation.
