Prerequisites
The course is designed for students of master's degree studies. The subject is a theoretical and practical basis in the conception of art-educational projects.

Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to conceive pedagogical projects inspired by contemporary art. Students are given the opportunity to develop a project model for different targert groups (children, high school stundents, disabled peopel, seniors, psychologists, etc.) in a discourse seminar. During the lessons, these projects are experimentally modeled in practical etudes, which are continuously reflected and interconnected in their entirety. The projects are contextualized with contents of participative manifestations of contemporary Czech and foreign artists.
Learning outcomes
The student will be orientated in the field of contemporary art. He will be able to design an art-educational project. He will be able to practically realize the art ethics.

  • 1. Research of contemporary art ideas - personalities, projects, exhibitions, action art. 2. The processing of the research results in the form of motivation documentation (photographs, videos, texts). 3. Realization of practical etudes. 4. Conception an art-educational project for a selected target group. 5. Presentation and defense of the author project

Assessment methods
The student will submit a proposal for an author art-educational project aimed at a specific target group in the form a presentation of a map elaborated in one of the presentation programs. The proposal includes 5 standard page text and at least 30 photos or 5 videos documenting partial verification of the project. The project will be presented at the end of the semester.
