Course objectives
Student understands the role and basic methods of art history and other disciplines (art critique) and is able to explain them. Student understands the meaning and specificity of teaching art history in art education and is able to explain them. Student is able to transform findings of art history and other disciplines for needs of particular teaching practice in a didactically appropriate manner.

  • 1.Nature and goals of art history and other disciplines dealing with art. 2.Basic methods of art history. 3.Position and the role of art history in art education. 4.Didactic transformation of findings in art history for the needs of teaching practice in art education.
