Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop and cultivate the student's artistic knowledge and skills as a means of unique artistic expression and thinking. The student will become acquainted with the possibilities of artistic expression, which he will apply in his own work.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to experiment with artistic means of expression, to apply gained experience, art knowledge and skills in their own unique work and its interpretation.
Syllabus
  • Surface means of creation (art drawing techniques, graphics, painting) creative implementation to students own art work in selected topics. Spatial means of creation (traditional and unconventional materials and their composition in art objects, installations with emphasis on originality and subjectivity of visual expression). Creative use of visual arts in the implementation of selected themes. Acquired techniques, techniques of shaping and composing of materials will be used in students own creation. Examples of famouse works of art in the context of applied art techniques and materials will give an inspiration for individual student work.
