Course objectives
The aim of the course is to conceive and implement art projects for pre-school education, which offer children the opportunity to learn through appropriate methods and forms.
Learning outcomes
After completing the subject/seminar, the student will be able to: - to reflect the practice of creative activities; - to apply experiential forms of education; - conceive, realize and reflect the artistic series.
Syllabus
  • Art series and projects and their application in preschool education Basic principles of creative art activities and their application in practice (creative and safe environment, differentiation and individualization, communication and cooperation, learning to be creative, learning in context) Creating learning situations by "immersion" as learning in action Respecting and applying the principle of the so-called close experience of the child in the educational situation Understanding and transferring to practice the principle of "diversity and diversity of children" (understanding diversity as a valuable resource for more effective learning). Planning art activities with an emphasis on working with chance, play, open end and experimental and research character. Thoughtfulness, organization, management, ability to improvise and flexibility in teacher planning Cultural, artistic or natural monuments in the vicinity of the kindergarten as a starting point for art and other creative activities - shaping the relationship of children to cultural values, art and the environment through creation. Presentation and reflection of realized art activities sharing experience in pedagogical practice (video recordings, photo documentation) - realized in cooperation with the subject Reflected practice for art projects

theoretical preparation; group projects; self-study of professional, inspirational and methodological resources, reflection
Assessment methods
Active participation in the seminar, fulfillment of partial group tasks, presentation of outputs,own and common reflection. Fulfillment of the main task: continuous preparation of an art project (mandatory consultations), implementation the project within the subject Reflective practice for art projects and reflection within the seminar. Submission of the evaluation form from the accompanying kindergarten teacher (Appendix 15 - methodology) and the final presentation of the implemented (and subsequent unrealized activities) art project or art (thematic) series. Presentation in the form of an annotated video, video or photo sequences. Reflection. The created file - a coherent text supplemented by expanding knowledge resulting from the joint final reflection together with photo and video documentation - is stored in the submission room by a specified date.
