Course objectives
The practice follows the courses Self-experience Learning and Pedagogical Communication in order to enable students to verify their mentoring skills in practice. It relates to the bachelor study program Teacher Training for Kindergartens with the subject Continuous Teaching Practice, in which the students of the bachelor program focus on the development of some of the selected professional skills.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - explain the nature of mentoring; - provide collegiate mentoring support; - reflect your mentoring skills; - formulate the goals of their mentoring development.
Syllabus
  • Teaching practice takes place in the first three weeks of the semester. The student is paired with another student of the bachelor study program Teacher Training for Kindergarten, who is at the time implementing the coherent practice. In this practice, the bachelor program student monitors and evaluates a selected area of professional skills. A Master's program student provides mentor support to this student in accordance with the "Ten commandments of the Mentor" and, in addition to feedback, helps the student formulate a future development goal.
