Course objectives
This part of the course of practical language presupposes the starting level of receptive skills higher than B2 and level of productive skills B2. Besides language exercises that use grammar and lexical structures in various communicative situations, emphasis is given on French in the social and cultural contexts. Teaching the technique of resumé writing on the bases of various texts. Textbook French for Advanced (lessons 18-22). The knowledge and skills are tested at the end of each lesson.
Syllabus
  • 1. Conditional clauses. Expression of real and unreal conditions in present and past tenses. Subjunctive mood. 2. Relative clauses. Simple and compound forms. Word order of relative clauses. 3. Dividing article. Pronoun adverbs. Differences in personal pronouns and pronoun adverbs. 4. Adverbial clauses: time, concessive, of effect, of purpose. 5. Verb noun forms: infinitive, past participle, present participle, -ing participle. 6. Resumé.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Průběžná kontrola: Během semestru studenti píší testy na prověření svých znalostí. Jejich výsledky budou mít vliv na získání zápočtu. Zápočet: Napíší-li studenti průběžné testy minimálně na 70% dohromady, získají zápočet; v opačném případě píší jeden test ze všech probraných lekcí a musí získat rovněž 70%.
