Course objectives
After passing the course, students are able to apply rhytmical and fitness gymnastics (with music) and dance activities according to the syllabus of 1.-5. year with possible extension.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic concepts related to dance, music and rhytmical conduct and equipment used, names of the dances, basic musically-motorical relations. 2. Safety and hygiene guideleines focusing on apt gear and shoes for rhytmics and dance. 3. Perception and feeling of the rhythm, body and body-parts movements in the particular exercises, changes of positions, tempo and rhythm, exercises with tools and musical conduct, basic dance steps and folk dances.

Tuition. Credit requirements: participation, skipping rope set, knowledge of basic dance figures, practical performance of folk dance, custom preparation of motoric composition making use of equipment or tools.
