Course objectives
After passing the course, students will be able to apply theoretical and practical findings in the field of health deficiencies, acquiring apt methods and means for positive influence on the motoric apparatus, aiming at application of the acquired knowledge to the teaching lessons regarding prevention of faulty body posture.
Syllabus
  • 1. The meaning of motoric activities for ones healthy development, teaching of the correct body posture 2. Principles of the correct method regarding muscle imbalances, practicing of the correct motoric stereotypes, methods of investigation and assessment of the body posture 3. Apt balancing exercises - stretching, body building, breathing and relaxation exercises for the children with wrong body posture, or as a prevention of the wrong body posture 4. Sample parts of physical education lessons and minutes, using apt instruments and methods from the health physical education

Compulsory tuition. Credit requirements: active participation, knowledge of muscles and muscle groups with practical samples of exercises apt for their strengthening and stretching
