Course objectives
Students are to promote their communicative abilities by the means of dialogues, discussions and coversational topics. They should improve their verbal abilities in terms of grammar, pronounciation and vocabulary. Students should also improve their listening and reading skills.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to work with text, can read with understanding, can search for information on the Internet, has a basic overview of Russian culture and Russian realities. The student clearly formulates his opinions and ideas.

Theater and film in Russia: development, representatives. 7-8. Russian folklore. 9-10. Sport in Russia. 11-12.Science in Russia. Russian Nobel Prize winners.

Teaching methods
Students work up homework and within an individual work and essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts. Discussion, presentation.
