Prerequisites
Participating students have to manage the basics of geographic disciplines both physical and human ones and to work with various information sources operating in Czech and foreign languages. They have to show efficient language skills at least in one of the most common languages.

Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to demonstrate of the selected region of the Earth with its natural, economic and social features, its history and present political situation. Students have to prepare and present a selected theme related with the territory to be visited.
Syllabus
  • Subject contents:
  • 1. Preparation of foreign field work – organisational principles, security, contents, route.
  • 2. Supporting materials processing – theme selection and distribution among students, processing and presentation.
  • 3. Distribution of active tasks for the time of field work.
  • 4. Proceeding of foreign field work.
  • 5. Individual report processing.
  • 6. Compilation of a common reporting presentation and its publication.

Assessment methods
The education abroad runs under supervision of a responsible teacher. The participating students complete selected organizational, operational and educational tasks, including the presentations of subjects processed. Credits are being given for results of subject processing, presentation and reporting.
