Course objectives
Didactics of Geography II deals with theoretical and practical questions concerning the didactics of other geographical disciplines. The aim of the Didactics of Geography is to apply achieved knowledge and practical skills of general didactics and geography into concrete thematic circles of Geographic Education Curriculum for pupils aged 11 – 15.
Learning outcomes
-Preparate the preparation of the lesson according to the structure, verify it in real-life practice and then suggest suggestions for improvement. -Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of geography teaching at elementary school where it performs pedagogical practice. -Create the design of "Your own school education program.
Syllabus
  • From geographical curriculum to a particular lesson with regard to subjects such as Cartography and Topography, Planetary Geography and Physical Geography. Formation of own educational program.
