Course objectives
The exercise focuses on the development of skills in working with geoinformation technologies freely accessible mainly through the Internet (working with map servers, portals and applications) and their use in school practice.
Learning outcomes
The students are going to: - learn the basics of the theory necessary for working with geographic data, following the previous semester - learn the basics of working with ArcGIS Online - apply work with geoinformation technologies in teaching geography.

  • Syllabus of lectures: - basic concepts of geoinformatics and geoinformation technologies - ArcGIS On line - basics of work and use of tools, creation of web maps and map applications, use of geoinformation technologies in teaching geography at elementary school.
