Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to evaluate the quality of current lower secondary geography textbooks in theoretical as well as in practical terms. After analysing scholarly texts and practical working on different textbooks analysis, by using concept mapping, group work, group discussion students should be able to maximalise the use of textbooks in his/her geography lessons at lower and upper secondary schools. The course could acquaint interested students in deeper theoretical background of textbooks research which could be used as a basis for further research realised within the bound of diploma or doctoral thesis.

Assessment methods
The course will be finished upon the semminar attendance and upon the oral and written test based on the knowledge gained during the semminar. Exceptionally, there is a possibility of alternative completion of the course (after a preliminary agreement with the teacher).
