Course objectives
The aim of these lectures is to acquaint students with orthopedic diagnoses, which usually affects locomotor apparatus.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to orthopedics. Treatment methods in orthopedics. Congenital malformations in orthopedics. Aseptic bone necrosis. Nerve disorders in orthopedics. Hormonal disorders, bone metabolism. Vascular disorders of the locomotor system. Muscle diseases. Rheumatic diseases. Osteoarthritis. Bone infections. Tumors in orthopedics. Deformity of the spine. Other diseases of the spine.
