Course objectives
In the field of physiotherapy, knowledge of reaction and adaptation to physical stress is a key area of a comprehensive treatment procedure. The aim of the course is to present information from physiology and pathophysiology of movement load. The subject deals with physiological and pathophysiological processes of reaction and adaptation of selected functional and organ systems to movement load, load limits, movement activity prescription and resulting effect in positive and negative sense.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will:
- acquainted with the problems of physiology and pathophysiology of stress in relation to medicine, rehabilitation and prevention of non-infectious diseases of mass occurrence;
- be able to describe the organism's response to stress in non-infectious diseases of mass occurrence and frequent internal diseases.
