Course objectives
The aim of the aqua-fitness course is introduction of the locomotory activities in water. Further aims, such as the aerobic fitness, strength development, mobility maintenance and optimal body shaping are also involved in the course. The course focuses on mastery of basic aqua-aerobics elements in shallow and deep water when using various aqua-aerobics equipments to lift and to increase water resistence. The aim of course is: the knowledge of fitness exercise in water, to know a basic aqua-aerobic elements and aqua-aerobics vocabulary.
Syllabus
  • Syllabus: 1.Introduction of the sport. 2. Mastering of basic stance, steps, jumps and arm move in shallow water. 3. Combination of basic elements into simple choreographies in shallow water. 4. Use of aqua dumbbells, gloves, uni belts or aqua noodles to increase demandingness in shallow water. 5. Pair and group work in shallow water. 6. Training of basic elements in deep water when using aqua belts and aqua noodles. 7. Use of aqua dumbbells, gloves, uni belts to increase demandingness in deep water. 8. Combination of basic elements into simple choreographies in deep water. 9. Pair and group work in deep water.

Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality:1 possible absence without apology - 1 more possible absences with the list of apology,1xpresence no exercises. They have student test clock lead of the aqua-aerobics and prepare a short written background.If the student can not attend to their registered output, the official exchange must take place in the ISU with another student.
