The course is geared for optional PE only.

The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main goal of the course is the improvement of locomotory skills, posture and fitness
- with the help of the exercise programme in the gym to improve the balance between muscle chains of the muscular system, and at the same time to enhance the health condition and to develop the strengh
- to influence the positive approach towards sports activities and healthy lifestyle in the context of the protection against stress and civilization diseases
- to accept the correct techniques and principles of exercising when exercising with the body-building machines or without them
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able: - To exercise independently in the gym while using correct techniques of concrete exercises on the fitness machines, and when exercising while using their own weight
Syllabus
  • At the first lessons students are provided with the correct body building technique in the gym including stretching. Later students train individually according to their individual programmes.

- exercise, credit - the credit is given to students for the attendance - 3classes can be misses and there is no need of any apology - the substitution of more absence sis not allowed
