Prerequisites
The course is geared for optional PE only. The only prerequisite is the intrerest in a chosen kind of the summer sports course.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle Summer sports courses focus on fitness, different locomotory skills, and hiking helps to improve the cognition of enviroment.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- apply basic knowledges and skills of climbing and protection
- orientation in terrain using maps
- plan the route of a hiking trip
Syllabus
  • The content of particular course dipends on its specialization. The specialization is displayed in the list of the detailed information about the course that students can find before they register. The main activities of the Blatina course are rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. The climbing program is tailored both to beginners and advanced climbers. The main activities can be combined at their own discretion and supplemented by other activities such as sports games or swimming.
