- Course objectives
- The course will introduce the students to the basic pedagogical categories, concepts, and theories with an emphasis on creating the fundamental pedagogical competencies. The course will be practice-oriented focusing on essential teaching skills for PE teachers and coaches/trainers. The theoretical basis will be amended with practical tasks improving the key pedagogical abilities - communication skills and management (self-management, time-management and classroom-management).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1) Understand and explain the modern trends in sports education.
2) Interpret knowledge from the field of lesson management, classroom climate, behaviour management, reflection and self-management.
3) Analyze the types of assessment practices used in school.
4) Collect data about students´ current practice.
