Cíle předmětu
The aim of this COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) course is to increase the knowledge about current research in Kinesiology and teach the students how to write a comprehensive systematic review in this field. At the end of this course, students will be able to define their research topic and design the methods of a systematic review.
Výstupy z učení
Students are expected to work in international team step-by-step on one chosen review’ topic to gain experience with all the aspects of systematic review writing. COIL courses provide an international learning experience without the need of mobility and this course will interconnect students from FSpS MU and UNI Zagreb. The completion of the systematic review manuscript and its submission to a scientific journal would be encouraged but will require students’ effort on regular home works.

  • Syllabus: 01) Lecture introducing different types of reviews (rapid, systematic, umbrella review) 02) Systematic review methodology according PRISMA guidelines. 03) Choosing topics, presenting PI/ECO criteria and key words selection. 04) Introducing the software Rayyan 06) Databases search 07) Steps of pilot selection. 07) Articles selection (the title and abstract search) in the software Rayyan, applying inclusion/exclusion criteria 08) Flow chart diagrams 09) Data extraction 10) Presenting results 11) creating figures and tables, supplementary materials 12) Quality assessment of included articles 13) Summary, presenting finished reviews and sharing experience with a work in an intercultural group in an online environment
