Scientific sports knowledge brought to practice combined with outdoor sports activities in a Czech nature. Holistic program focused on human performance and health improvement. The field trip will let students experience active outdoor recreation typical for the Czech summer

Cíle předmětu
The summer school, Sport Sciences and Outdoor Education, aims to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. Its goals include academic exploration in sports science, practical skills development, emphasis on outdoor education, fostering collaboration and networking, and promoting personal development. The program combines theory and practice to equip students with a well-rounded skill set for future careers in related fields.
Výstupy z učení
Acquire Knowledge: Participants will gain a solid understanding of various disciplines within sport sciences, including exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, nutrition, and coaching techniques. They will also develop knowledge of outdoor education principles and practices.

Apply Theory to Practice: Through practical sessions, students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life settings. They will engage in activities such as fitness assessments, training program design, movement analysis, and organizing outdoor adventures, developing practical skills in the process.

Enhance Critical Thinking: The program will foster critical thinking skills by challenging students to analyze and evaluate concepts, research findings, and practical applications within sport sciences and outdoor education. Participants will learn to think critically, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.

  • 5th day: Water sports and outdoor training
  • 6th day: Basic Techniques of Sports Massage
  • 7th day: Weekend - free
  • 8th day: Weekend - free
  • 9th day: Bouldering
  • 10th day: Sports Nutrition and its preparation 11th day: Sleep and Circadian Rhythm + Introduction to trail running
  • 12th day: Eating habits + Strength training
  • 13th day: Body and Mind
  • 14th day: Leaving Brno

Theoretical lessons and practical workshops in classrooms, gyms, sports labs and outdoors.
