Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to comprehensively and systematically develop the prerequisites and professional competences of students of teaching for the work of a PE teacher outside of the regular teaching of this subject. Within the framework of this pedagogical practice, students gain experience in the implementation of school sports or other physical education events for students that go beyond the scope of regular teaching, such as a school skiing or cycling training course, a school sports tournament or competition, a school sports day, etc. (the selection of a specific event in this case is always guided by the actual instructions for the subject in the interactive syllabi or study materials). This objective is fulfilled through consultations, or supervisions, but above all through the actual preparation, realization and subsequent evaluation (or active involvement and participation in all these parts) of such an event under the guidance of a supervising teacher. In addition to this practical experience, sharing, mentoring and reflection are key elements of pedagogical practice. Sub-objectives of the course include realize what formal, organizational and technical requirements necessary or most effective for the implementation of such an event in a school environment, identification of the legislative and specific organizational context in the school, or practical verification of the necessary skills and abilities to lead and manage students at such an event.
