Course objectives
The subject has two main objectives:
1. Preparation of an intervention movement video for weakened individuals, intended for a web portal
2. Development of a model nutritional and exercise plan for weakened individuals
Learning outcomes
Aftre completing the course student will be able to:
1. Prepare and implement a movement unit for a weakened population
2. Identify risk factors of lifestyle diseases using appropriately selected procedures
3. Categorize and individually interpret valid recommendations in primary and secondary prevention of lifestyle diseases
4. Design and develop a nutritional and exercise intervention program for a weakened population, taking into account any comorbidities
Syllabus
  • Part 1:
  • - Preparation of an intervention exercise video for weakened individuals, intended for a web portal
  • - Students will prepare methodological sheets to be used during the workshop and for working with clients
  • - Through the workshop, students will practically demonstrate the intervention exercise program Part 2:
  • - Development of a model nutritional and exercise plan for weakened individuals
  • - Creation and design of a model nutritional and exercise plan for weakened individuals, which will include an interpretation of stress testing and a proposal for an exercise and nutritional program with both short-term and long-term goals

Teaching methods
- One-time block-lesson at the beginning of the semester (preparation of the group project, division of tasks and competencies, division of the work with the client )
- Individual, independent work on the creation of methodological sheets and sample plans
- Consultation with teachers
Assessment methods
- 100% attendance in block teaching and consultations
- Conducting a workshop with active participation from all students registered in the course
- Posting the completed exercise and nutritional plans on the course website
