POV_TV && BOZP_OK ( bozp_cus_tv_vodni_sporty )
Basic motor skills. Mastering basic motor skills, effort and interest in developing the level of motor skills needed to perform the basic paddling technique. Swimming literacy required, lessons take place without life jackets.

Course objectives
During the lessons, students will get acquainted and learn the basic skills to master the paddling technique on a dragon boat. They will learn to control the dragon boat in the correct and appropriate way, to manage the ride in the crew according to the instructions of the pilot.
Learning outcomes
Graduate: They can distinguish between correct and incorrect paddling technique, the basics of dragon boat riding rules. He/she can explain the basics of paddling technique, describe the correct execution of the paddling slide, name the phases of the stroke and describe the most common mistakes. He is able to paddle on a dragon boat in a crew 200m track at race pace in the correct paddling technique, he is able to distribute forces throughout the track.
Syllabus
  • - OSH, initial diagnostics of students, basics of canoeing, dragon boats; - Handling the dragon boat (carry the boat, carry it, mount it, disembark); - Control the dragon boat according to the pilot's instructions (bounce, land, turn the ice to both sides); - Rules of keeping balance on the boat, riding in crew parts, setting, shooting, extracting, carrying the paddle; - Pacing exercises (stopping before planting, after removal, transferring; - Crew ride; -Launches; - Basics of interval training;

Assessment methods
Active participation in teaching, due to the fact that it is block teaching is to obtain credit is necessary to complete the teaching in full, ie with zero absence.
