The course is geared for obligatory PE only.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the training of correct stereotytes for human locomotion - walking, running, going up the steps, cycling, rowing - the sport focuses on the cardiovascular system and monitors the fitness load under aerobic performance - it developes endurance and strenght skills - it is also suitable for less trained or overweight students. The course stresses an individual teacher´s approach.
Syllabus
  • 1. warm up, stretching 2. Machines available in the course: - running trainer (running + load regulation) - cross trainer (the whole locomotory system is involved) - stepper (training focused on the lower part of body) - cycle trainer (endurance training without the load of joints) - rowing trainer(endurance training focused on the upper part of body) 3. The training is supplemented with bodybuilding (abdominal, back and arm muscles are trained) 4. Stretching, relaxation

Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
