Course objectives
The goal is teaching basic skills of snowboard riding and basic didactical principles in snowboarding teaching.
Selectively qualify for Snowboarding instructor license.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
Apply basic skills of snowboard riding and basic didactical principles in snowboarding teaching.

  • Practice:
  • 1)terminology, manipulation, safeness, basic skills, balance
  • 2)rotation drill, sideslipping, actual forms of training exercises
  • 3)skidded turn, carved turn, basic jumps
  • Theory:
  • 1)methodical series
  • 2)equipment - used materials
  • 3)safety in snowboarding

Course - 5 days Self-study: study of literature Control tasks: test theories of snowboarding , practical skills test
Assessment methods
Credit - active participation in practical and theoretical lessons, demonstrate sufficient level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in written test and practical ride.
