- Course objectives
- The main objective of this course is to provide students with sound foundations of managing projects in a business environment. Upon completion of the course, students will be familiar with the characteristics and context of a project management. They will have basic understanding of project management principles, roles, and processes.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students will have:
1. A basic general comprehension of project management and the ability to be effective project team member.
2. A basic knowledge of Product Based Planning and the ability to utilize the technique for all plans specified in the course.
3. A basic understanding of what it takes to start a project including the ability ot create a project brief.
4. A basic understanding of project planning and the ability to develop a full scale project plan. - Syllabus
- During direct teaching part, the basic principles, themes and processes of project management will be explained in the form of lectures. Subsequently, students will be given the opportunity to apply their knowledge to a selected (model) project in an e-learning application - they will create a project plan and manage its subsequent implementation in a simulated environment.

- Exam - written test.
Evaluation of the completed task in the e-learning application is a part of the overall grade. Completing the task in the e-learning application at the minimum required level is a mandatory condition for taking the written exam. To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve at least 60% of the total maximum score.
Any copying, recording or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding grade "F" in the Information System, and the Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination. - Language of instruction
