Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Graduates of European economic, administrative and cultural studies are expected to work in European Union organizations; therefore stress is laid on language knowledge and a traineeship in public administration or public sector in the Czech Republic or in a European country.

Main objectives can be summarized as follows:

- to put the theoretical knowledge learnt in the course into practice in public administration;
- to enhance the chances of students' success in obtaining relevant work experience and increase their opportunities in the labour market.
Syllabus
  • The length of the traineeship has to be at least 60 working days (480 hours).
  • The traineeship will be provided for those students who will fill out and sign the "Protocol" before starting the traineeship.

Assessment methods
The course is concluded by a credit. For obtaining the credit, students must hand in the „Special Working Experience Confirmation“ with their evaluation and a final report about the working experience. The extent of the final report is 20 pages. Students may write the report in one of these languages: Czech, English and German (according to the country of the practical traineeship), but only in case of the supervisor's approval.
