Teaching methods
The class consists of lectures and seminars. During the semester, pairs of students are obliged to hand in two seminar papers with the aim to summarize, evaluate and apply knowledge based on an academic paper. In the semninars active methods of learning are used: discussion, feedback, model situations, role playing.
Assessment methods
Students in pairs work out two seminar papers during the semester. Also, several other assignments are required. Students can perform the final test after fulfilling all the required tasks.
The final written test with a time limit of 60 minutes. The test is assessed on a point scale; the final classification ranges from A to F.
Any copying, recording, or leaking tests, use of unauthorized tools, aids, and communication devices, or other disruptions of objectivity of exams (credit tests) will be considered non-compliance with the conditions for course completion as well as a severe violation of the study rules. Consequently, the teacher will finish the exam (credit test) by awarding a grade "F" in the Information System. The Dean will initiate disciplinary proceedings that may result in study termination.
If the student enrolls in the course during their trip abroad, the same conditions apply, i.e., the student must write a seminar paper on the chosen topic and then take an oral examination. It is advisable to contact the instructor at the beginning of the semester to agree on the topic of the paper, study materials, and the course of completion.
