Course objectives
The course focuses on providing methodological support to students in the process of finding a suitable topic for their final project, choosing an adequate method of research or analysis and the correct format for presenting the results. The course strengthens students' abilities in the field of independent work and successful presentation of academic results. Learners select their mentor/mentee based on the mentor's profiling topics, independently formulating the project topic and the problem to be solved.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- know the methods of conducting research and analysis;
- know the formats for presenting the results of scientific activities;
- explain how to structure the final project;
- formulate the problem to be solved and identify an adequate objective;
- propose a solution methodology with an appropriate level of specificity;
- search for and assess the suitability of literature and other professional sources;
- choose a supervisor.
Syllabus
  • Providing methodological support, introducing research and analytical methods. Formats for presentation of research results. Presentation of possible forms of processing the final project. Selection of a supervisor and a topic for the final project.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation for the preparation of the final project and its defence, providing methodological support to students, introducing methods of conducting research or analysis and the correct format for presenting results. The teaching is conducted in full-time.
Assessment methods
Credit is awarded for the continuous performance of the assigned tasks and for the independent development of the final project assignment. In case of a trip abroad, please consult with your thesis advisor about the possibility of taking the course remotely.
