Course objectives
Legal Norms in Banking (DSPN) This course is subsequent to the course Law for Economists. Its content includes explanation of the public-law and private-law frame of banking. It expands the knowledge of the legal framework of banking enterprise, particularly of the legal status of entrepreneurial subjects in banking (commercial banks, specialised banks, cooperative small loan companies, export and credit institutions and the EU banking directives), it also introduces the principal types of contract in the field of banking operations. Special attention is paid to the most frequent ways of infringement of legal norms in this sector of enterprise and criminal recourse for illegal conduct of banking subjects. Examination: written and oral.
