Course objectives
Diploma Seminar is an opportunity for students to become familiar with how to approach the deal as the processing of professional work. They will learn how to elaborate thesis with a project that they prepare. In the ninth semester as part of the seminars KHDISA and diploma seminars KHDISA for combined follow-up study, they get familiar with how to formulate the objectives of thesis and choose the appropriate methods for them.
Moreover they will learn quickly and correctly read and process information sources. They will also get familiar with how methodically properly prepare, implement and evaluate the empirical investigation and to formulate recommendations that result from them. In the tenth semester in KHDISA seminars and workshops diploma KHDISA for the combined follow-up study they gain further knowledge of the fundaments of professional-style text.
They will learn how to choose the correct strategy and tactics of writing a scientific text and taking action in the spirit of publishing ethics. During the seminars, students also get familiar with the principles of good presentation in the thesis defence, with an object to wider application in practice.
Syllabus
  • 1. seminar of KH DISA OPENING INFORMATIVE LECTURE 2-3.seminar of KH DISA INDIVIDUAL POT PRESENTATION - as the part of the diploma paper projects and discussion about methodical characteristics (all other seminars) Concurrently with 2-3 seminars: INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION OF RECOMMEDED LITERATURE concerning each theme of opening lecture I - time schedule of education is individually selected by each student POT ELABORATION - as the part of the diploma paper project and preparation for its presentation on the seminar POT will contain the opening parts of the project of diploma paper, concretely: - theme of diploma paper - formulation of diploma paper object - formulation of diploma paper goal - characteristic of intended methodology use for diploma paper solution (include research hypothesis, if the empiric research is the part of the diploma paper)

Assessment methods
- ELABORATION of a POT (work amended by tutor) - as a project of a diploma paper. - INSERTING POT into the directory of the course KHDISA on IS MUNI no later than on the 14th of December (Alternatively, the presentation of POT) - ACCEPTANCE of the POT by tutor (methodically evaluated as suitable and available for processing the diploma work). In the case of acceptance of the presentation by tutor, the accreditation is granted.
