Course objectives
Corporate Economics I (SDNA) The main aim is introduction to the area of enterprise economy, giving the basic knowledge of enterprise, factors of production and their mutual relations. It follows the course of Microeconomics. The content of the course contains general issues of enterprise economy and is then realised regardless of an enterprise s affiliation to a concrete sector or industry. It acquaints students with such categories as enterprise and enterprise economy. It clarifies the basic notions of enterprise economy, such as corporate factors of production, legal forms of enterprise, grouping of businesses and selection of a business s location. Special attention within the framework of lectures on the factors of production is paid to the human working performance and its affecting and remunerating. The nature of the production process is also clarified. Problems connected with the acquisition of factors of production and their deployment in production process are explained with the use of production functions. The knowledge gained here is enhanced in an immediately subsequent course Corporate Economics II. Examination: oral; quality of content and presentation of seminar essay on a given topic is considered in assessment.

Assessment methods
Successful passing two test during the semester. Limi for successful passing is set to 60%.

Exam: a single-option question test consisting of 20 questions. The limit for successful completion is 60%
If a student commits a prohibited act, such as using various forbidden tools (e.g. cheatsheets), cribbing, taking out any part of the credit test or any other form of cheating, the teacher is allowed to interrupt the test and to grade the student with F, FF or even FFF, according to the seriousness of the offence. The described procedure applies to all the activities that are included in the final evaluation of the course (seminar work).
