Course objectives
Human Resources Management (KHRLIZ) The aim of the course is to provide students with the elementary theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of human resources management. The course structure consists of three basic blocks: theoretical, practical-methodological and practical. In addition to the basic knowledge of the functions of a human resources management department and the key data about its historical development, students will be acquainted, both theoretically and practically, with the scope of its duties. Increased attention will be given to: - the process of hiring new employees - the process of employee performance evaluation - training and educational programmes for the staff - development of managerial skills - ability of making effective changes in organisation s structure Part of the course is also an excursion to a company with successful human resources management activities. Examination: written test, oral exam.
