Course objectives
Personnel Management (KVPEMA) The course aims to provide students with the elementary theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of personnel management. The course structure is divided into four basic blocks, one theoretical and three practical ones (students are expected to study on their own to a larger extent). Besides the elementary knowledge of the functions of the personnel management department and the key data of its historical development, students will be acquainted, both theoretically and practically, with the scope of its duties. Increased attention will be given to: - the process of hiring new employees - the process of employee performance evaluation - training and educational programmes for the staff - development of managerial skills - ability of making effective changes in organisation s structure Examination: written test, oral exam.
