Course objectives
Law in Health Care (DSPZ) This is a specialised course providing the basic sum of knowledge of legal norms relevant for operations of a health care establishment. Especially those regulations are covered which form the legal framework for functioning of health care establishments - their founding, relationship with health insurance systems, legal framework for employment in health care, quality assurance, rights of patients and norms of administrative law relating to public health care. Lectures focus mainly on content analysis and partly also use historical approach. A survey of legislative competences of the relevant state administrative authorities is also a part of the course.
