Course objectives
Introduction to Management of Non-governmental Non-Profit Organisations (KVUDM) The course will be conceived as an initial informative block of lectures concerning the fundamental concepts and rules of management and its specific properties in non-profit organisations. Students of the course will be introduced to the basics of non-profit management, particularly of a not-for-profit organisation, motivation systems in NGOs, human resources management tools, quality control and the marketing system of NGO management. The knowledge gained in this course will be further developed in other specialisation courses, e.g. Management, Economy of Public Sector, Marketing and Fund-raising, Communication and Public Relations, Accounting and Analyses, Personnel Management, etc. Exam requirements: mastering of the subject matter. Examination: oral.
