Course objectives
The parts of territory (regions) very differ in its structure and dynamism of development. These regional disproportions are noticed in various statistical resources. The course gives students basic knowledge about resources and characteristics of available regional data. The attention is paid to legislative framework (approach to information, protection of personal data, state statistics service) as well as to regional indicators in constituent areas (population, households, production, services, enterprise, living standard, macroeconomic indicators and so on).

Individual project is required. Written examination (reaching 60% of the total score is the condition for successful finishing of subject).
