Course objectives
Subject concerns project cycle policy of the European Union and implementation of the Structural funds in the Czech Republic. The stress is on regional development projects and its financing through individual Operational Programs. Goal of the course is to gain deep understanding of the implementation process of the Structural Funds in the Czech Republic and to gain ability to prepare concrete project proposal in the real conditions of the selected Operational Program.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- understand the problems of the EU project cycle;
- will be able to assign a specific EU funding grant (if any) to a specific project and identify the terms of the grant;
- will be able to prepare a project plan (define conditions) and administer a project proposal.
