Prerequisites
The prerequisite for successful involvement in the course is elementary or pre-intermediate knowledge of general language (A1/A2). In case the knowledge proves to be insufficient, it has to be acquired through individual study.

Course objectives
Language II/A is a recommended preparatory course. The prerequisite for an active participation in the course is elementary or pre-intermediate knowledge of general language (A1/A2), the aim is to get A2 level.
The languge teaching focuses on reinforcement and improvement of general language skills (mastering grammar and expansion of vocabulary); specialized business terminology is used to a limited extent.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is able to:
orient oneself in the russian grammar;
understand the short texts (using business terminology);
formulate opinios during the discussion.

  • 1. Meeting. Nouns. Telephone numbers. At the conference.
  • 2. Clients. E-mail correspondence. Declination. A sight-seeing tour.
  • 3. Resourses. Expressing your own opinion. Pronouns. Telephone conversation.
  • 4. Entertainment. Adjectives. Planning your rest.
  • 5. Business meeting. Verbs of motion. Conducting a meeting.
  • 6. Market. Comparative forms- Describing of charts and diagrams.

General note: Nezapisují si studenti, kteří absolvovali předmět PJIIAR. Student si může zapsat v CDCV v kurzech celoživotního vzdělávání,pokud bude cítit potřebu si doplnit v jazyku II středoškolské vzdělání.
Information on course enrolment limitations: Předmět nebude v daném semestru vypsán, pokud se nezapíše min. 8 studentů.
Teacher's information
Tuition is synchronous, taking place online, regularly, every week, according to the valid timetable for the semester using the MS Teams or ZOOM application. Students must have basic equipment – a computer or a tablet, internet connection, a camera and a microphone. More detailed information in the Interactive Course Syllabus (Study Materials). Students will receive an email with instructions and an appropriate links before the start of the course.
