Předmět je především zaměřen na problematiku institucionálních aspektů procesu transformace a na ekonomický vývoj kandidátských zemí Evropské unie. Obsahem jsou rovněž ekonomické aspekty procesu rozšiřování Evropské unie. Předmět je ukončen zkouškou.
