Course objectives
Graduates of European economic, administrative and cultural studies are expected to work in European Union organizations; therefore stress is laid on language knowledge and a traineeship in public administration or public sector in the Czech Republic or in a European country.

Main objectives can be summarized as follows:

- to use theoretical knowledge in practice of public administration;
- to increase student's chances of success in transition to relevant employment and to enable them to assert themselves in the labour market.
Syllabus
  • The length of the performed traineeship has to be at least 13 weeks (during the period: July- December).
  • The traineeship will be provided for those students who will fill out and sign the "Protocol" before starting the traineeship.

Assessment methods
The course is concluded by a credit. For obtaining a credit, students must hand in the „Special Working Experience Confirmation“ with their evaluation and a final report about the working experience. The extend of the final report is up to 20 pages. Students can write the report in one of these languages: Czech, English and German (according to the country of the practical traineeship), but only in case of the supervisor approval.
