Assessment methods
The teaching proceeds in the form of lectures and seminars. Lectures are held regularly in selected weeks of the semester. The seminars take place in the weeks between the lectures. Active participation in the seminars is a necessary condition for allowing a student to pass the exam. Students have to study selected readings in preparation for the seminar. Their knowledge can be tested in a form of a brief test during the seminar. The final written test is to be taken during the exam period. If the student is caught during the examination performing any form of forbidden activity (for example: cribbing, allowing cribbing, using non-permitted materials and devices, exchanging tests, creating copies of tests, or substituting for other student), the teacher will stop the exam and according to the seriousness of the offence the student will be graded F, or FF or even FFF.
